The Dallas County Board of Supervisors set a public hearing regarding the County’s tax increment financing and urban renewal ordinances during their regular meeting Tuesday.

Last week, the Supervisors discussed the need to review the ordinances to ensure they’re relevant. The Supervisors set a public hearing for Tuesday, November 17th at 9:30 a.m. to repeal five chapters of the ordinances. The Supervisors concluded the meeting by approving an auction contract with Daugherty Auction of Adel to auction off abandoned property obtained by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
