The third round of the Iowa high school football playoffs is Friday night and Greene County makes the trip southeast to Monroe to face undefeated and second ranked PCM in Class 2A action. The Mustangs are 8-0 and the Rams are 7-2 and winners of their last six games.

Head Coach Caden Duncan told Raccoon Valley Radio what he sees in PCM. “I see a team with a lot of very good athletes. It looks like almost everyone is the same person until you see different uniform numbers. Whether it’s receivers or running backs on offense, or linebackers and backs on defense. And, they’re pretty athletic up front, too, and they have some size.”

PCM is scoring almost 59 points per game and allowing just under six. The Rams are scoring 31 points per contest and giving up an average of a little more than 13.

The game can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with kickoff at 7 p.m.
