The Greene County high school volleyball team ended the season last week with a 9-19 record. The young Rams had three seniors and one junior on the varsity with sophomores getting most of the rest of the playing time. “Brianna Osterson and Lily Muir were our leading hitters and Eliza Carlson played the libber position for us. The only junior was Brianna Habben, a hitter who was out for volleyball for the first time. She was terrific in learning a new sport.”
Greene County won its first round postseason match in Class 3A Region 2 vs. Southeast Valley (Gowrie) in Jefferson prior to losing a semifinal match in Humboldt vs. the tenth ranked Wildcats.
