Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball has been very good during the postseason thus far, and are hoping to advance to the state tournament tonight when they take on Marion. The Fillies are coming off of a victory on Thursday against the Bondurant Bluejays winning by the score of 3 sets to none. The Fillies were able to cruise in that contest winning all three of their sets by many points, and are hoping to do the same tonight.

For this DCG team, they are 16-4 on the season while Marion is currently 21-11. The Fillies are currently riding a three game winning streak, and hope that the tests that they have faced throughout the season will have them prepared for the contest tonight.

The Fillies will be looking to get out to a quick start, find their best players, and make sure that they can withstand Marion runs throughout the night.

First tip will be happening tonight at Linn-Mar High School, with the time being at 7 o’clock.
