An annual fundraiser for a Jefferson-based organization will be moving to an online format.

The Jefferson Rotary Club will be hosting an online auction this year instead of an in-person event to raise funds for non-profit organizations and projects. The online charity auction will be held from November 17th through 21st. Over the past 22 years, the local rotary club has raised over $600,000 for local projects that have benefited libraries, schools, flags for veteran ceremonies, parks and recreation equipment and programs, the animal shelter, among others.  

As part of the online auction, Rotarians are asking for donations. Contact Auction Chair Travis Dvorak to donate an item for the auction via email at travis.dvorak@wildroseresorts.com. To make a monetary donation, checks can be made payable to Rotary Foundation and mailed or dropped off to Jefferson Rotary Treasurer Tim Heisterkamp at P.O. Box 105 in Jefferson.
