Greene County voters that want to vote in person but can’t make it to the Greene County Courthouse during normal business hours have a chance this weekend to stop in.

Deputy County Auditor Billie Hoskins says the east room of the courthouse will be open this Saturday from 8am-5pm for people to vote in person. Voters must bring either their driver’s license or their voter identification card. However, Hoskins notes those wanting to absentee vote by mail still have time to do so.

“You can still request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you by calling the (Greene County) Auditor’s Office, or you can go on our website, which we have a link to the Secretary of State’s website, and you can print off an absentee request form. (You can) mail that to us, or you can drop it off here at the courthouse, or you can drop it off in our dropbox on the east side of the courthouse.”

The final day to request an absentee is this Saturday by 5pm. Click the link below to access the Greene County Auditor’s Office website.
