Dallas County saw a double-digit increase in COVID-19 cases over the weekend.
According to the State Dashboard Sunday, Dallas County has 24 new cases since Friday for a total of 3,263, ninth-most in the State. There have been 2,669 recoveries and three new deaths for a total of 43. Dallas County has an 8.5% 14-day positivity rate. Greene County reported three new cases since Friday, increasing their total to 171. They’re also reporting 92 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 6.7% 14-day positive average.
Guthrie County reported 10 new cases since Friday, increasing their total to 364. There have also been 223 recoveries and 14 deaths. Guthrie County has a 14.1%,14-day positivity average. Adair County has six additional cases since Friday, increasing their total to 123 with 64 recoveries and one death. Adair County has a 10.8% 14-day positivity rate.
Statewide, there are a total of 107,315 cases, with 81,818 recoveries and 1,530 deaths. Of the 900,489 people that have been tested, 791,549 were negative, an 11.9% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 107 hospitalized patients, 23 in Intensive Care Units, and 13 admitted in the last 24 hours.
