5:04am: A deputy investigated an identity theft complaint in the 900 block of Grant Street, Scranton.

10:15am: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 600 block of Church Street, Churdan.

10:35am: A deputy assisted a motorist on 330 th Street and D Avenue.

2:29pm: a deputy arrested Brittany Smith 33 of Jefferson for an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

3:00pm: Brittany Smith 33 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

8:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an assault in the 500 block of South Walnut Street. Christopher Lawrence 40 of Jefferson was arrested for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.

10:40pm: Christopher Lawrence 40 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
