Two people were injured in a rollover wreck in Dallas County Sunday.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Donald Fortner of Yale was traveling westbound on Highway 44 around the 16000 block when he lost control. In an effort to correct the vehicle, he swerved and crashed into a ditch. Fortner and one passenger were transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines with possible injuries. Fortner was also cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.
