The Perry Chamber of Commerce is working on creating a fun and safe environment for their annual Spooktacular event.
Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio this year’s downtown trick or treat walk will look a bit different compared to years past, “There are some things that you can expect as normal and some minor adjustments as well. Ultimately, we just encourage people to just remember that this is a choice to participate in and to be respectful and mindful of the current situation we’re in. We’re planning on expanding our footprint a little bit this year so that we can encourage that spacing out at those different stops along the way. In years past, on a good year, there could be thousands of people downtown, but we know that will look a bit different this year.”
Pasutti adds they’ll be closing down Willis Avenue between First and Third Street to add more spacing. Businesses who are interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to the Chamber.
