The Greene County Ambulance Director was recently recognized for her years of service.
Director Michele Madsen was honored by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians for 20 consecutive years of being nationally certified with Emergency Medical Services. In order for Madsen to continue being certified, she had to complete – on a biennial basis – a comprehensive recertification course for EMS professionals.
Madsen became nationally certified in December of 1999 and has served Greene County since 2019. Prior to being the Ambulance Director, Madsen worked for Greene County EMS, Fraser Medical Service, Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake and with the Spencer Hospital Ambulance Service.
