Panora City Hall 2013 is mere days from being a thing of the past, and while that means her Presidency term is up for the Panora Chamber of Commerce, Cheryl Castile says she’s “very pleased” with how things went under her direction.

Castile attributes the great year to the help and support of other Chamber members around her, as they worked to bring new activities and ideas to the Panora area.

The town got involved with the “Market to Market Relay” for the first time, an event that Castile says was one of her highlights of the year.  Another of Castile’s highlights was in connection to the annual Panorama Days celebration.

“We did hire an executive director for our Panorama Days celebration which is something we’d never had before.  So that was a hired position.  Chaille Reynolds (Crandall) was the chosen applicant for that and just did a great job.  Panorama Days kind of took on some new life that we were kind of lacking, and they already have a theme for 2014… it’s going to be “Make A Splash,” celebrating 30 years of the Panorama ski team.  That’s probably one of the biggest highlights.”

Castile says she will remain highly active in Chamber next year, and she’s excited for what incoming President Lou Guzman will look to try and accomplish. Guzman will officially take over as Panora’s Chamber President on Monday, January 20th, when members convene at PJ’s Restaurant at 7am.
