Positive COVID-19 cases throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area continued to rise over the past weekend.

According to the state dashboard as of Sunday, Dallas County added 36 new cases since Friday, increasing their total to 2,932. They also have 2,459 individuals that have recovered and 38 deaths. The county is at a 6.5% 14-day positive average. Greene County has 126 positive cases, four more than Friday. They’re also reporting 69 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 6.2% 14-day positive average.

According to the State dashboard as of Sunday, Guthrie County has 12 new positive COVID-19 cases, increasing their total to 280 total positive cases, 179 recoveries,  and 10 deaths. Guthrie County has a 12.7% 14-day average positivity rate. Since Wednesday, Adair County has one new case, increasing their total to 77, with 50 recoveries and one death. Their positivity rate is at 5%.

Statewide, there are a total of 92,603 cases, with 71,595 recoveries and 1,383 deaths. Of the 822,089 people that have been tested, 727,296 were negative, an 11.3% positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 92 hospitalized patients, 24 in Intensive Care Units, and 10 admitted in the last 24 hours.
