The ADM Tiger’s girls and boys cross country teams was able to get some great performances in the Leon Fox Invitational in Perry, with the girls getting first place in their meet and the boys getting 2nd in their race, as Adel-Desoto-Minburn was able to put together one of their best team showings of the season.

The girls were able to be lead by sophomore Geneva Timmerman, as she was able once again put up a great showing of the Tigers, putting up a time of 19 minutes and 18 seconds and pacing a Tigers team that had four runners in the top 20. Sophomore Callie Moyer was able to finish 11th with a time of 21 minutes and 22 seconds, freshmen Grace Martens-Sinn was able to finish 13th with a time of 21 minutes and 27 seconds, and senior Hannah Welch was to finish in 17th with a time of 21 minutes and 38 seconds.

The boys got second place in their race and were paced by three runners who got in the top six. They once again got a first place performance from Senior Nate Mueller putting up a time of 15 minutes and 50 seconds. Junior Cooper Greenslade was able to get a time of 17 minutes and 37 seconds to race to a 4th place finish, and senior Ethan Juergens got 6th with a time of 17 minutes and 47 seconds.

ADMs next meet will be Monday at North Polk High School.
