Greene County plays Clarinda in Class 2A District 9 football tonight at Linduska Field in Jefferson. This is the fourth date at home in six games for the Rams, and its their final home game of the season unless they are assigned a home playoff game. The Cardinals are 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the district while the Rams are 1-1 in district play and 3-2 overall.

Caden Duncan is head coach of the Rams. He told Raccoon Valley Radio the Cardinals are a very solid football team. “They are big and physical, yet have some speed. They’re a team that had some quarantine issues right at the start of the season, so they’ve gotten better as they’ve gotten more reps. That’s a solid team coming in here tonight.”

The Rams have turned the ball over 10 times in the past three games, and have actually won the last two. Taking better care of the ball and better overall execution are things Coach Duncan will be looking for tonight.

Game time is 7 p.m. Coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com begins at 6 p.m.
