If the Dallas Center-Grimes Football program intends to keep their #1 ranking in the Class 3A standings, and perfect record intact, then a win at Winterset on Friday is a must.

DC-G looks to improve to 6-0 on the season on Friday, and get the top draw in the state for the 2020 Class 3A Football playoffs, but slowing down Winterset”s running back, Dawson Forgy is a big job.

Forgy is averaging over 9 yards per carry this season, has reached pay dirt with 15 touchdowns, and roughly 1,100 yards on the ground this season.

Scott Heitland’s team will look to tidy up any loose ends he feels his squad may have in the final week of the regular season, before the Mustangs begin their highly anticipated playoff run next week.

Friday’s match-up between DC-G’s Zach Brand and Winterset’s Dawson Forgy promises to be great.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15pm.
