Tuesday, September 29th

2:55am: Jan Black reported Suspicious Activity in the 700 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer spoke to the subjects and learned they were picking up a vehicle that had broken down earlier in the day.

11:28am: Paula Upton reported her adult son’s vehicle was stolen and parted out in Des Moines. She had reported the theft occurred in Des Moines. She was advised to report it there, since that is where the crime occurred.

11:34am: Rick Morain reported he had received the “Social Security Card Scam Call.” He was advised his number had been fraudulently used. He ended the call and did not give out any information.

7:44pm: An officer and a deputy went to 206 North Oak Street and arrested Dalton Lee Weber, 22 of Jefferson on outstanding Jefferson Police Department Arrest Warrants for, Assault – Simple and Supplying Alcohol to Underage Persons – Simple.” The charges stemmed from 09/23/2020, at 1:38am where officers were called to 205 North Maple Street for a reported Assault occurring there.
