ADM Tiger football faced a unique challenge on Friday night when they have a game against the Class A Earlham Cardinals, and after a pretty competitive first half the Tigers were able to pull away in the second and win by the score of 63-22.
ADM was able to score three touchdowns in the first quarter of play including passing touchdowns to Lucus Ray and Vince Benetti to help the Tigers get out to a quick start. Earlham would come back quickly in the 2nd quarter as they were able to put together a couple of nice drives to get to 21-14 after scores from QB Darrell Matchem. ADM would tally on another score at the end of the half to take a 28-14 halftime lead.
ADM would take charge in the third quarter as they would get a couple of key stops and take advantage of three scores from Ray, Tate Stine-Smith, and Justice Paulsen, as ADM had a very good night offensively.
The Tigers were able to get to turbo clock by the fourth quarter and get a much needed win.
ADM moves to 2-3 on the season while Earlham drops down to 2-2. ADM will have their next game coming up on Friday when they jump right back into Class 3A district 8 action against one of the top teams in class 3A in the Dallas Center- Grimes Mustangs.
