The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library recently announced changes to the Used Book Sale that is going on now.
This Monday and Wednesday will be the final days that the sale is open to Friends members only from 2-6pm, and no appointment is needed. As a reminder, Friends memberships start at $5 for individuals and a family membership is $10. Masks are required at the sale and there will be a limit of six individuals admitted at one time.
Starting October 1st, the book sale will be open to the public. The sale will then run through October 31st. Hours will be 2-6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-5pm Fridays and 9am-1pm Saturdays. Once again, no appointments are needed, but the same COVID-19 requirements will be in effect.
Items for sale include used adult and children books, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks, puzzles and board games. This is the one and only fundraiser for the Friends, which provides supplemental funds for purchases for the library.
