An Adair man was recently arrested on several drug charges after the Adair Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence.

The criminal complaint states the warrant was executed at 49-year-old Brian Louie Peterson’s residence located in the 700 block of Guthrie Street at about 1 p.m. September 15th. Over five grams of methamphetamine, currency, and other drug paraphernalia were found. Also during the search a female stopped by the residence looking to purchase meth from Peterson. He was arrested and charged with manufacturing, delivery, or possession of more than five grams of meth, a class B felony; failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia and pharmacy general penalty, both simple misdemeanors. Peterson posted a $10,000 cash or surety bond, 10% acceptable and was released from the Adair County Jail Monday. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
