It’s been two weeks since the Dallas Center-Grimes Football team has taken the field, and with the bye week since DC-G played last, the Mustangs have been using the extra time to prepare for their next three opponents; Norwalk, ADM, and Winterset.
Tonight, DC-G puts on the pads and helmets to face the Warriors of Norwalk. Norwalk makes the trip to Grimes with a record 1-3 on the year. The lone win was at home against Perry last Friday, but two of the Warriors’ losses were by a combined 3 points to ADM and Indianola.
One key for the Mustangs tonight will be to slow down Norwalk Senior Quarterback, Max Juergens. Juergens has 13 touchdown passes this season, and just shy of 1,000 yards through the air.
Tonight is also Homecoming for DC-G, and kickoff is scheduled for 7:15pm.
