The West Central Valley Wildcat football team did their best on Friday Night against a good team in Kuemper Catholic, but unfortunately was unable to get the win.
The Wildcats were down early in the game, as the Knights were able to score 21 in the first quarter and 13 in the second quarter, and never looked back in the first district game of the season for both teams. The Wildcats will be focused this week on continuing to limit their mistakes, trying to get comfortable offensively, and limit the big plays defensively.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, things do not get any easier this week, as they will have to take on one of the top teams in 1A in the Van Meter Bulldogs, and know that they have a challenging game in front of them. Kickoff for that game against Van Meter will be on Friday Night at 7 o’clock.
