Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School is hosting homecoming this week, with some traditional and new events this year.
As typical the school will host dress up days, with Tuesday being Camo/Country Day, Wednesday as Disney Day, Thursday as Duo/Twin Day, and Friday as Spirit Day. All during the week they will be having a competition between the grades to see who raises the most money to pie a teacher in the face. Students can drop money off in a jar designated for a teacher by each of the grades in the high school office, and on Friday the winning teacher will be pied in the face. Students will also have an opportunity to pay $1 to buy a water balloon and pie any of the four teachers in face. The Chargers will then face off against the Woodward Granger Hawks at 7 p.m., with introduction of the homecoming court and parents and crowning of the king and queen at halftime. A kickball tournament for the students will follow the game.
