The Raccoon Valley Radio studio remodeling project in Perry continues to stay on track, despite a chaotic summer.

According to General Manager John McGee, the project has made great strides over the past couple of weeks. Construction crews have been working on shaping the interior of the building. The drywall has been installed, and work is being done on the door trimmings. McGee adds he’s very thankful for the hard work and the sacrifices being made to get this project where it’s at, “In all honesty, I can’t thank our staff, the employees of the radio station, (enough) for their flexibility and their willingness to adapt to whatever we’re dealt with. Also, our clients and community, as a whole, and their ability to be flexible with us and work with us on that. We can’t wait to get into the newly remodeled building, and we’ve gotten a lot of comments from the public about liking how it’s looking, and how it’s shaping up.”

McGee says the construction crews should be ready to hand over the building around October 1st. From there, work will continue to install updated equipment throughout the facility.
