We’ve come to the time of the year where gardeners are harvesting their final food of the season and are looking for ways to eat them later.

Greene County ISU Extension is offering a free one-hour online Food Preservation 101 class. Extension nutrition and wellness specialists will lead participants through various preservation techniques, provide science-based, reliable food preservation resources and answer general food preservation questions. The free course is scheduled for Thursday, September 10th at 7pm.
