Adel-De Soto-Minburn High School will be opening their gates for another week of football.
There will be a variety of guidelines in place to encourage social distancing. Masks are required upon admission but do not have to be worn once attendees arrive at their seats. ADM will be limiting crowd size by switching ticket sales to an online pre-sale system and will not be selling tickets at the gate. Those in certain groups are each allotted three tickets to purchase in a presale, including the football players and coaches, band members and instructors, and cheerleaders and coaches. Seventy-five tickets are then allotted to be sold to the high school students on a tiered system the week leading to the game, then a limited number of standing only general admission tickets will be sold, and each visiting school will receive 200 tickets.
Activities Director Rod Wiebers tells Raccoon Valley Radio he’s grateful to give the student-athletes a chance to compete this fall, “It means a lot to our student-athletes and our coaches, but also our community to be able to have our students participate in the things they love, and they work hard at; to learn the things we value in our programs such as being givers more than takers and going through and understanding what it means to be a great teammate and how that transitions into the rest of their lives. We welcome this challenge.” You can find more information on how to get tickets here.
Perry will be heading to Saydel, where similar guidelines will be put in place to encourage social distancing.
