Monday is Labor Day, which means there are a wide assortment of closures throughout Dallas County.

In Perry, all City offices will close in observance of the holiday. Garbage routes in Perry scheduled for Monday will instead be picked up on Tuesday, and those normally on Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday. 

Similarly in Adel, all City offices and the public library will be closed Monday. All Dallas County offices, including the courthouse and driver’s license station, are also closed. Finally, all post offices and banking institutions throughout the County will be closed. Everything will reopen Tuesday, unless otherwise specified.
