September’s Community Conversation event will take place this week in Jefferson.

This month’s focus will be on elections. Greene County Deputy Auditor Billie Hoskins will cover several topics, including the requirements, cost, voter security and verification, poll worker procedures, main-in ballot security measures, and preparing to have an election.

The event will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson on Thursday at 5:30pm. Due to the pandemic, attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks, practice social distancing, and are highly encouraged to wear a mask. Community conversations are free and open to the public.
