As crop and livestock producers are waging with moderate to extreme drought conditions and crop and infrastructure damage caused by the derecho weather event, ISU Extension and Outreach will be hosting a Virtual Ag Coffee Meeting in Greene and Guthrie counties.

The meeting will feature in-person and virtual discussions, and will discuss the agronomic and financial impacts of the drought and the derecho with Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt and Farm Management Specialist Tim Christensen. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9th. Preregistration is required to attend the event through Zoom or in person at the Greene or Guthrie county Extension offices. Walk-ins will not be accepted unless confirmed by individual county offices the day of the meeting. You can register to attend in person by contacting Greene County Extension at 515-386-2138 or Guthrie County Extension at 641-747-2276. To register to attend virtually click here.
