The West Central Valley Wildcat football team will get their season rolling at home tonight when they welcome the Wolverines of Nodaway Valley to Stuart. The Wildcats had a winless 2019 campaign, and are hoping to turn things around for the 2020 season.

Wildcat football has had a busy off-season with a new coach in Jim Lindsay, as well as new offensive and defensive schemes for a young team. They will be hoping to find some footing during the non-conference portion of their schedule before they compete in one of the toughest districts in the entire state of Iowa.

The keys for Wildcat football tonight will include finding ways to execute their game plan, overcome mistakes, and put together a spirited effort in front of their home fans.

Kickoff from West Central Valley High School will be at 7 o’clock.
