Greene County lost in straight sets on Thursday night at Ft. Dodge St. Edmond in non-conference high school volleyball. Scores were 23-25, 21-25, 21-25. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams fell to 2-1 on the season while St. Edmond was playing its first match.
The Greene County coach said senior Brianna Osterson led the Rams in kills with seven and senior Lily Muir had four kills.
The coach said the Rams were in every set. “We stayed aggressive, but had too many little errors.”
Greene County isn’t scheduled to play again until Tuesday, Sept. 8. The Rams were originally scheduled to host their tournament on Sat., Sept. 5, but the new high school gym won’t be ready to host competition. The tournament has been rescheduled for Sat., Oct. 3.
