The Perry  Jayette volleyball team will open up the season tomorrow night inside the Sports Pavilion when they entertain Raccoon River conference newcomber North Polk.  Perry will be looking for their first conference victory in more than two years.  John Fulton returns as the head coach and is excited about the five returning starters Perry will look to this season.  Even in the time of CoVid-19, Fulton says a number of his players stayed sharp.

“Yeah, really around June and July some of our girls were able to get back in the gym and start getting ready.  We even did a team camp this summer where the team traveled to a local college and a lot of our younger kids were able to get some swings in and be competitive. Our girls have put in a couple of really competitive weeks of practice and are ready for the season.”

Perry and North Polk will battle at 7:00 tomorrow.
