ADM Tiger Cross Country has a lot of talented runners in their athletic program, and now will be under the direction of two new cross country coaches for the 2020 season.

The Tigers made a pair of additions for both their boys and the girls program, with Steve Brown the new girls cross country coach and Josh Chapman the new boys cross country coach. Steve Brown was the middle school cross country and was promoted in the program to the girls program. Josh Chapman was with the Waukee program the last couple of years, and brings a lot of experience to the ADM program.

They will be replacing former coach David Zwank, who resigned during the off season.

Both teams will be bringing back a lot of talent for the Tigers, with the boys to be headlined by last year’s state champion Nate Mueller, and the girls to have talented runners including Geneva Timmerman and Hannah Welch.

Both Chapman and Brown will be dedicated to improving times for their athletes, making sure athletes are good physically and mentally, and creating a fun and successful environment as well.

Both of these coaches should be a good fit for the ADM, as the Tigers look to have a big season on their hands with their first meet to be on September 5th in Urbandale.
