As the first day of school approaches, the marque project for the Perry Community School District is almost complete.
Over the spring and summer months construction on a new industrial technology facility and wrestling/multipurpose room has been kept mostly on track. Superintendent Clark Wicks says they’re almost ready to begin moving in equipment. This new facility will offer more tools and hands-on lessons for students. If all goes well with fire and code inspections, the facility will be ready before the first day of school August 19th. Funding for the work is from a $6.5 million bond referendum that was passed in February.
