Greene County Medical Center has announced its new Chief Nursing Officer.

Susan Moore is currently the Director of Clinical Quality at Olathe Health Physicians in Olathe, Kansas. Her responsibilities included physician quality and patient satisfaction, and oversight for advanced practice providers in primary, speciality and rural health care. Prior to that, Moore was the Chief Nursing Officer for 17 years at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kansas.

Moore has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Carolina University. She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in public health, administration and health planning from the University of Tennessee. She is married with four adult children and three grandchildren. Moore will start in her new capacity as CNO at Greene County Medical Center on September 8th.
