An Adel woman recently won a five-figure cash prize from an Iowa Lottery scratch game.

According to the Iowa Lottery, 85-year-old Nedra Gayle Schultz of Adel purchased a “7 7 7” scratch ticket at a Casey’s located at 816 Greene St. in Adel. The ticket turned out to be worth $77,777, the game’s third top prize. Lottery officials note that the game is a $10 scratch game that features eight top prizes of $77,777 and overall odds of 1 in 2.95.
