DC-G Softball came up one run short of a win in Fort Dodge yesterday afternoon after the Fillies were only able to muster up one tally in a Semifinal tilt with #7 Winterset, falling by the score of 2-1.  The Fillies had multiple opportunities to get another run, but couldn’t capitalize when they needed to, and fell a run shy of a win.

Winterset moves on to the Class 4A State Championship, and could face #1 seeded, Carlisle in what would be a Raccoon River Conference State Championship showdown.

DC-G will play in the 3th/4th place consolation game this evening at 6:00pm vs 4th seeded, North Scott.  North Scott fell to Carlisle yesterday 8 to 3.
