The AC/GC softball team put opposing pitchers on notice that they can put the ball over the fence at any given point.

The Chargers finished the 2020 season fourth in the West Central Activities Conference in home runs. AC/GC hit five over the fence throughout the abbreviated season. What makes that even more impressive is they had three different batters go yard. Maddy Kelsey led the way with three, which was fifth best in the conference individually. Then EmmaKay McClain and Sophia Rouse also hit one a piece. AC/GC used the long ball to get back into their first post-season game against Woodward Granger when Rouse hit a two-run shot and Kelsey added another run in the seventh. Alas, it was too little two late as AC/GC finished the season 4-9. All the Charger sluggers will be back next season.
