The Guthrie County Arts Council is hosting a free kids make-and-take workshop this Monday.

Participants are asked to bring their favorite 5×7 inch or smaller photo, which the Council volunteers will then make a copy, and guide children to paint and apply the photo to a block of wood. Spots for the workshop are limited as each participant or family is given a reserved time to make their craft, in order to observe social distancing. The workshop will be offered from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Art on State in Guthrie Center. RSVPs can be made by stopping by Art on State, calling 641-332-2267 or emailing guthriecountyartscouncil@gmail.com.
