The Adair County ISU Extension and Outreach office is sponsoring a Farm Leasing Arrangements meeting next week.

The two-hour program will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30th in the Warren Cultural Center Auditorium in Greenfield, with registration beginning at 1:15 p.m. Extension Farm Management Specialist Patrick Hatting will focus on various methods to determine a fair 2021 cash rental rate, cover crop research, methods to implement in leasing agreements, and current cash rental and land value surveys. Participants will receive a 100-page booklet and meeting handouts designed to assist landowners, tenants, and other agri-business professionals with issues related to farmland ownership, management and leasing arrangements.
