Organizers have announced some new details regarding the “River Ruckus Rumble” festival event happening at the Guthrie County Fair this weekend.

The scaled-down version of the annual three-day country music festival will include camping, bags tournament and beer garden on Friday, and four musical acts performing on Saturday. As around 2,000 tickets have been sold for this event, the organizers announced last week that they will have six-by-six foot wide boxes painted on the ground in front of the grandstand for groups or individuals to each be spaced apart in, as well as rows of the grandstand bleachers taped off for 50% capacity seating. Lawn chairs are also welcome at the event. The festival staff will be wearing face masks, and attendees will be offered masks at the gate and they are encouraged to wear them while standing in line for drinks or food. Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the grounds, and the bathrooms and shower facilities will be cleaned and sanitized frequently. Those not feeling well or that have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks are urged to stay home.
