Perry High School will be recognized by Drake University as a recipient of an Iowa Character Award.

Every year the Ray Center presents awards to Iowans who convey trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship. Perry High School earned this year’s School of Character award, which is given to the school who shows the most character. This is the first time an entity from Perry has won an Iowa Character Award since the awards began in 2005.
