Adair, Dallas, and Guthrie counties saw new cases of COVID-19 Friday.

 

According to the state dashboard as of Friday, 23 new cases of the virus were added to Dallas County for a total of 1,492. They also have 1,100 individuals that have recovered and 33 total deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard, Guthrie County had nine cases for a total of 94, with 61 recoveries and four deaths. Greene County remained the same at 32 cases, 27 recoveries, and zero deaths. Adair County added three new cases to increase their total to 20 with 15 recoveries and no deaths.

 

Statewide, there were 177 new cases Friday for a total of 37,669, with 27,568 recoveries and 782 deaths. Of the 405,104  people that have been tested, 364,104 were negative. 

 

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 68 hospitalized patients, with 17 in Intensive Care Units, and 11 admitted in the last 24 hours.
