Dallas, Greene, and Guthrie counties saw new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

 

According to the state dashboard as of Wednesday, 34 new cases of the virus were added to Dallas County for a total of 1,469. They also have 1,100 individuals that have recovered and two new deaths for a total of 33. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard, Guthrie County had two new cases for a total of 85, with 61 recoveries and four deaths. As for Greene County, there is one new case for a total of 32, with 27 recoveries and no deaths. Adair County remained the same with 17 cases, 12 recoveries and no deaths.

 

Statewide, there were 363 new cases Thursday for a total of 36,399, with 27,374 recoveries and 777 deaths. Of the 396,282 people that have been tested, 358,065 were negative. 

 

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 56 hospitalized patients, with 13 in Intensive Care Units, and nine admitted in the last 24 hours.
