As construction continues at the Raccoon Valley Radio facility in Perry, interruptions in radio signals are possible Thursday.

The remodeling project of the Raccoon Valley Radio building in Perry is starting the electrical work. General Manager John McGee says this may bring with it some interruptions in the radio signal, “Our goal is to have very, very, very few interruptions. We are the one to count on, and yes we are set up for Severe Weather Action Team, we’re set up to a lot of the services we’ve known to count on. However, we are going to be switching over to underground utilities. That’s going to take place here [Thursday] to get that taken care of. So we’re going to have some intermittent outages during that process.” McGee adds the signal that may experience the longest outage is going to be the 1310 AM KDLS signal. You can also listen to KDLS on 99.7 FM and stream all the Raccoon Valley Radio stations online for free at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
