adm-7

Another night, and another great start for ADM Tiger Senior Abbie Hlas, as she was able to throw another shutout to help the Tigers get the victory over their rival Dallas Center Grimes by the score of 3-0. Hlas pitched another great game for the state ranked Tigers, giving up only four hits on the night, and didn’t face too many rallies by the Fillies outside of the first inning.

This is the third shoutout in four games for Hlas, who threw a pair last week against state ranked Odgen and Chariton as well.

ADM was able to get on the board in the fourth inning after drawing a pair of walks, and eventually would score on an error from DCG on a well executed bunt from senior Emily Hlas to make it 1-0. In the sixth inning, the Tigers would add two more insurance runs with a RBI singles from senior Sierra Wyant and Abbie Hlas, as the Tigers were able to get some cushion against a good DCG team.

ADM moves to 12-4 to conclude their regular season, while DCG moves to 17-8, and will play tonight against Des Moines Valley. ADM will play their first district game on Saturday night against Des Moines Hoover or Norwalk, with all Tiger Regional games to be played in Adel.
