The Adel City Council will convene Tuesday evening in regular session, which will be held remotely. 

To start the meeting, the City of Adel will recognize Aaron Crow for a Historic Preservation At Its Best Award. Following that, there will be a trio of public hearings. One regarding authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of water revenue capital loan notes to not exceed $4,713,000. The next two public hearings will be about water, with the first pertaining to water treatment plant improvements and the second about the ground storage reservoir. After going through the consent agenda, the Council will hear an update regarding the city’s operational plan to manage the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Other items on the agenda include a resolution to approve the Envision Adel 2040 Comprehensive Plan, setting a public hearing for sale of city Land to Restoration Harmony.
