While the first two summer concert events hosted by the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce had to be canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, the July event will go on as planned.
The first Adel Rock’N Friday concert of the year will be held July 17th at the Adel Stage and Pavilion, which is located at the corner of Main and 10th streets. The featured band will be popular local group Brick & Bob, and the show will run from 7-10 p.m. With coronavirus still a threat locally, the Chamber is encouraging the public to wear masks if they’re able, and to space themselves out around the venue. Attendees should also bring their own seating, food, and drinks, and are advised to not share with anyone not in their household.
As with all Rock’N Friday events, the family friendly concert is free to attend and open to the public. Alcoholic beverages are allowed, though any adult drinks must stay in the pavilion area. In a typical year, the Chamber hosts the public entertainment once a month from May through August, though the pandemic nixed this year’s first two gatherings.
