The district brackets have been released, giving teams their paths to the state baseball tournament.

AC/GC has a bit of an usual circumstance facing them entering the final week of the season. They’re set to sqaure off with Manson Northwest Webster Saturday, July 11th. However, that is in question as MNW has cancelled their remaining regular season games after a positive COVID-19 test. According to the Fort Dodge Messenger, everyone involved in the program began a 14-day quarantine starting June 26th which would be concluded in time to start the post season.  The Cougars are 2-4 after playing the first six games of the year before the positive case arose.

The winner of the first round matchup will have a date with Woodward-Granger, who the Chargers have already faced and took a lead into the final inning before the Hawks were able to make a surge to comeback and win 3-2.
