adm-7

Sophomore Olivia Tollari was able to hit a two run home run in the third, freshman Aliya Yanga hit in the go ahead RBI, and senior Abbie Hlas had a solid night on the mound as the ADM Tigers picked up their seventh consecutive win by the score of 3-2 against Indianola. ADM moves to 9-2 on the season while a good Indianola team moves to 12-3. Tollari hit her blast in the top of the third inning to get ADM up by the score of 2-0, but Indianola would counter with two of their own in the bottle of the frame to tie the game.

In the top of the sixth, Yanga delivered the key play to give ADM the victory. ADM only had four hits on the night, but got them in key moments to pull out the win. Hlas was once again solid in the circle, giving up only two earned on three hits while striking out four. She also threw a very efficient 71 pitches in the seven innings, getting ahead in the count often.

ADM concludes the week with a 4-0 record, will take the 4th of July weekend off before playing their final full week of the regular season next week, including some good contests against the number team in class 5A in Fort Dodge.
